Let me explain: Closure is a scale-up company that supports relatives after the death of a loved one, by taking care of cancellation and alteration of subscriptions, contracts and accounts. As people tend to use more and more subscription-based products, relatives are burdened with the time-consuming and emotionally-heavy task of contacting all those companies and organizations after someone passes away.

Our goal is to eliminate that burden and work WITH these organizations! Win-win, since we help both relatives ánd organizations. How? Well, by developing an automated and harmonized network through which organizations are notified of the cancellation requests, eliminating the hours of customer support phone-calls and getting rid of the numerous emails relatives normally have to send.

Who are you?
As our team is still small, but growing fast, we are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit. You dare to speak out, look at problems with a commercial and organizational mindset and working on a large variety of projects sets a smile on your face. You just can’t wait to be one of the bricks we will use to build an entire software team!

What will you do?
Time to get serious and nerdy. Our platform is developed on Laravel in PHP and make use of Vue.js and TailwindCSS for front-end components. You will contribute on transitioning our code to be become more scalable, maintainable and testable. Furthermore, you will work on new solutions and products with focus on both front-end and back-end. We work from GitHub and deploy on AWS, so knowledge of these tools is valued. As a first project, you will be responsible for upgrading our core customer service platform to further automate communication with organizations – a nice task to get to know our product and codebase, right?
